From a first glance, can you believe this piece of art is actually produced from a tissue paper roll?
Well of course you can, can't you? The rolling effect on the coils, plus the uneven cut on the edges are very obviou to not think that it is actually made from wood. haha..
As I delve deeper and deeper into the art of quilling, I think
it is just right for me to be hooked on another function of it, QUILLED
TYPOGRAPHY!!!
I first fell in love with it when I stumbled upon Miyyah@Kertas while looking for more
tutorials to help enhance my skills. She made this very gorgeous quilling art typography as wedding boards and gifts. The colour combinations she used are so beautiful and it immediately inspired me to do one of
my own.
Okay. As promised yesterday night (before I went to sleep supposedly but I ended up scrolling 9GAG and only slept at 4a.m. What a bummer. -_-"), today I am going to share the projects that I have done ever since I got my hands in quilling practice.
But first, let me tell something funny about this quilling thing. I HAVE NEVER SEEN ONE IN REAL LIFE.
Goodness! How I miss the clicking
sound of the keyboard each time I write something in my blog. Or better said HOW
I MISS MY BLOG!! Plenty of free time I have had these days but the only update I
offer is a recipe, of which I’m sure lots of my fellow bloggers have bragged
about. What a shame. I even bought one month worth of broadband!
But the blame for my negligence has
to be put on something else, though. Something artsy. Something colourful. Something
that requires so much attention that if you dare let yourself be clumsy, you
will face GREAT DEATH… of motivation!!
Khamis hari tu kalau tak silap. Fatin dengan Narfa plan nak pergi sickbay jumpa matron lepas habis lunch. Masing-masing gatal kat kaki dan gatal kat tekak. Aku aje yang gatal nak menyendeng sekali even though sihat walafiat tak ada penyakit. Saja je sebab malas nak jalan kaki balik sorang-sorang. Pergi bertiga, balik pun kena la bertiga. Kata one for all, all for one. kahkahkah...

Tengah syiok-syiok baca Luke Khuzairi petang tadi, villamate cik Patin tegur dari luar pintu bilik yang luas terbuka. Nak pinjam berus istimewa daku sekejap katanya. Teragak-agak la kejap. Sebab berus tu memang istimewa.
Ah ya. Istimewa sangat bak hang.
Kahkah. Toksah duk sangka kitorang ada yang duk minum susu dalam botol bebudak la. Ni daku beli khusus untuk cuci botol air jenama tupperware tu.
Ohmai tajuk tak boleh blah. Dengar dah macam pakar IT datang berceramah pulak. Heh.. Ilmu teknologi baru takat keting kaki dah lagak macam ilmu penuh di dada pulak. Apa pun tak boleh minah ni. -_-
Tak kisah la. Tanpa basa-basi, mari teruskan aje majlis kita ke agenda utama iaitu agenda belajar cara memaksimakan penggunaan keyboard. Biar pasni mouse dah takde fungsi. Touchpad laptop pun kecik je peranan dia. Paling utama, biar jari jemari korang gemuk berlemak macam jari jemari aku juga. Tak runcing sebab malas nak gerak banyak kali guna mouse/touchpad. Muehehe~ *gelak konspirasi*
Nampak macam best aje.
Natijah belajar lain-lain tempat ni, selalu tak dapat jumpa kawan-kawan lama, baik dari sekolah rendah mahupun sekolah menengah. Kena tunggu cuti panjang baru boleh huhah-huhah together. Itupun kalau belajar kat local uni. Bagi sang penulis yang tercampak ke daerah asing yang mengikut kalendar luar negara ni, apa cerita? Kita cuti, orang lain ada kelas lagi. Kita angkut balik kolej, kengkawan lain pulak letak beg depan tangga rumah. Sadis!
